Andrea Catalano is an associate who handles complex insurance coverage matters involving commercial general liability claims, advising insurers on policy interpretation, navigating the complexities of commercial general liability insurance policies, assessing coverage and providing coverage positions and recommendations to reduce risk and liability. Andrea is well-versed in navigating coverage matters related to commercial accidents, third-party injuries, property damage and product liability.

Andrea earned her J.D., cum laude, from Chicago-Kent College of law in 2021. While there she served as a member of the Moot Court Honor Society and participated in the Seventh Circuit Review Honors Seminar.

Prior to law school, she received her B.S. in Public Health from Indiana University, Bloomington with a minor in Business Foundations. She also earned her Master in Public Health from the University of Illinois at Chicago.

Prior to joining BatesCarey, Andrea served as a judicial law clerk to the Honorable Pamela McLean Meyerson in the Chancery Division of the Circuit Court of Cook County.
