Celeste is an associate with a diverse commercial litigation background, focusing her current practice on insurance coverage and appeals. Her litigation experience includes matters related to breach of contract, business torts, white-collar defense and investigation and federal fraud.

Prior to BatesCarey, Celeste was an associate at a boutique commercial litigation firm, where she researched and drafted complaints, motions and discovery requests and attended status hearings, depositions, and strategy and client meetings for various commercial litigation and business disputes. Celeste previously worked as an associate for a prominent commercial litigation firm in Chicago.

Celeste graduated with her J.D. from Loyola University School of Law, where she was named to the Dean’s List three times. Celeste graduated cum laude from George Washington University, earning her B.S. in Political Science. After graduating from law school, Celeste served as a law clerk for a firm based in Washington D.C. and subsequently gained experience as a law clerk for the Cook County State’s Attorney’s Office, a Chicago-based personal injury law firm and the Illinois Appellate Court, Second District under Justice Kathryn Zenoff.
