Kari A. Timm serves as coverage and monitoring counsel to international and domestic insurers in connection with cyber and privacy liability risks. She serves as dedicated coverage and monitoring counsel on multiple cyber programs underwritten by Lloyd's of London. Kari has represented the London market in some of the most significant cyber and privacy industry exposures to date, assessing liability and coverage and counselling her clients through breach investigations and the remediation process.

Kari counsels her clients on cyber and privacy policy wordings and new product development. She has drafted a number of cyber and privacy policies, including mass market policies as well as specialized wordings for specific industries and professions.

Kari also has significant experience with technology E&O, on-line media and intellectual property claims, as well as other types of professional liability matters including D&O, EPL and accountants liability.

Kari regularly speaks at cyber and privacy industry events as well as private events in the London, Bermuda, and U.S. markets at the request of her clients. Kari’s exceptional coverage experience and contributions to the legal industry at large have earned her a position on the Crain’s Chicago Business 2020 Notable Women in Law list and the Leading Lawyers list in 2021.
