Paige M. Houin is a senior associate who advises foreign and domestic primary and excess insurance carriers on a variety of complex disputes involving commercial general liability, cyber liability, environmental liability, and professional liability matters. She represents insurance companies in coverage litigation in federal and state courts at both the trial and appellate court levels.

Paige is an integral member of BatesCarey’s Opioid Coverage Task Force, which is dedicated to monitoring, analyzing, and litigating cutting edge insurance coverage issues related to opioid lawsuits filed nationwide against pharmaceutical manufacturers, distributors, and retail pharmacies.

Paige also serves on the firm’s PFAS team and has developed an expertise in advising insurance clients on the management and evaluation of this emerging risk.

Paige recently spent several months as a secondee with a global insurer, where she worked closely with and advised the Cyber Claims Team.  During her secondment, Paige handled cyber claims and evaluated coverage under cyber liability, professional liability, and general liability policies.

Paige earned recognition in Best Lawyers: Ones to Watch in America for 2025 for her work in insurance law.
