Samuel J. Head is an associate who handles complex disputes involving commercial general liability claims for primary and excess insurers and reinsurers. 

Sam serves on the firm’s PFAS team, litigating the nation’s first wave of coverage disputes involving the “forever chemical.”  He is deeply involved in all discovery issues relating to PFAS litigation and is integral to the handling and shaping of discovery disputes developing in this multi-billion dollar litigation.  Sam regularly counsels clients on PFAS-related exposures and coverage issues that may be implicated by these emerging risks.  

Sam is also part of the firm’s Opioid Coverage Task Force, which provides industry-leading services for our firm’s clients in litigating, monitoring, and analyzing opioid lawsuits against pharmaceutical manufacturers, distributors, and retailers.
