Sirjan Arora is an associate whose practice focuses on representing insurers in complex coverage disputes, serving as coverage and litigation counsel for numerous matters involving professional liability, commercial general liability, product liability and toxic tort litigation.

Prior to joining BatesCarey, Sirjan worked as an associate for a prominent defense law firm based in Chicago, where he handled pre-litigation development, trial presentation and mass tort defense for Fortune 100 companies in product liability cases. Previously, he also served as a law clerk and associate for a national law firm, where he focused his practice on medical malpractice and product liability.

Sirjan earned his J.D. from the University of Illinois at Chicago School of Law, where he was named to the Dean’s List and served as a presiding barrister for the Trial Advocacy and Dispute Resolution Honors Council and as a student attorney for the International Human Rights Clinic. He graduated with his B.A. in Political Science and Legal Studies from the University of Wisconsin–Madison, where he was captain of the Wisconsin mock trial team and served as secretariat member of the Global Classrooms United Model United Nations.

Outside of his regular practice, Sirjan actively serves the community by chairing Model United Nations conferences, judging both high school and college mock trial competitions and coaching law school trial teams.
