William D. Edwards is an associate who handles complex disputes involving commercial general liability claims for primary and excess insurers and reinsurers.
Will serves on the firm’s Opioid Coverage Task Force, which is dedicated to monitoring and analyzing lawsuits filed by state and local governments nationwide against pharmaceutical manufacturers, distributors, and retail pharmacies. He is also a part of the firm’s PFAS team, litigating the nation’s first wave of coverage disputes involving “forever chemicals.”
Will received his Juris Doctor from Loyola University Chicago School of Law. During his time there, Will was an active member of Loyola’s moot court program, participating on the American Bar Association Nationals Team during his third year. Additionally, he served as a senior editor on Loyola’s Consumer Law Review. As an active member of the community, Will has provided representation to children in guardian ad litem cases with his Illinois Supreme Court Rule 711 license.
