BatesCarey is proud to announce that Le G. Trieu and Jonathan R. Walton have joined the firm.

As Special Counsel to the firm, Le focuses her practice in the area of insurance coverage and litigation counsel with a concentration on D&O liability, professional liability, employment practices liability and commercial general liability. Le has represented third-party liability and property insurers in declaratory relief and equitable contribution lawsuits in state and federal courts nationwide.

Le earned her J.D. and an LL.M. in Taxation from Northwestern University School of Law. She received a B.A., cum laude, from the University of California at Los Angeles.

Joining as an associate, Jonathan serves as coverage and litigation counsel to domestic and international insurers in a variety of complex insurance coverage issues handling D&O, E&O, healthcare, EPL and CGL coverage matters. He has experience litigating contested coverage cases relating to the pharmaceutical industry, including regulatory investigations and proceedings and multidistrict litigation, as well as matters involving opioid litigation, sexual harassment claims, property damage claims and coverage issues arising from construction defects and construction site accidents.

Jonathan earned his J.D., magna cum laude, from the Chicago-Kent College of Law and a B.A. from the University of Illinois.
