BatesCarey entered its third decade as a top insurance and reinsurance firm according to Chambers USA. 2024 marked the firm’s 20^th consecutive year of recognition from the legal industry’s most respected ranking organization. 

Chambers bestowed its highest ranking on the firm for its work in Illinois for Insurance: Dispute Resolution: Insurer and noted no law firm has achieved this ranking for longer. In addition to achieving the top insurance firm ranking in Illinois, BatesCarey ranked nationally among the top ten insurance firms, with Chambers stating “BatesCarey understands the needs of the client. In national individual rankings, founding partner Robert J. Bates, Jr. ranked among the 11 premiere reinsurance attorneys in America, and one of the top seven reinsurance attorneys in Illinois.
