BatesCarey is delighted to announce the addition of Natali P. Thomas as an associate to the firm, marking the eighth attorney the firm has brought on since March to support its booming practice.

Across the country and abroad, Natali represents insurance and reinsurance companies in direct insurance coverage and reinsurance disputes arising from property damage, bodily injury, sexual misconduct, discrimination, bad faith claims and professional liability issues. She advises clients on complex matters including duty to defend, bad faith exposure, rescission and recoupment of defense costs.

Prior to BatesCarey, Natali defended insureds in matters arising out of personal injury, professional malpractice, and wrongful death. She has also represented corporations outside of the insurance industry in general litigation matters, including breach of contract disputes.

Natali earned her J.D., with honors, from the University of Illinois College of Law in 2014 and her B.A. in Political Science from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign in 2010.
