Kari Timm to Speak at the 2016 CLM Cyber Liability Summit
Kari A. Timm is a panelist for “The Impact of Cyber Terrorism on the Insurance Process: What Is It, How Do You Recognize It, and What Impact Does It Have on the Lifecycle of Insurance?” at the 2016 CLM Cyber Liability Summit. The summit will be held on October 5, 2016 at the Sheraton New York Times Square Hotel in New York, New York.

Kari is a Partner at BatesCarey LLP who serves as coverage and monitoring counsel to international and domestic insurers in connection with cyber and privacy liability risks. Kari has represented insurers in some of the most significant cyber and privacy industry exposures to date, assessing liability and coverage, and advising her insurer clients on breach investigations, response and remediation. Kari’s experience in this area includes handling both third party privacy and first party claims (including cyber-related business interruption claims).
Kari also counsels her clients on cyber and privacy policy wordings and new product development. She has drafted a number of cyber and privacy policies, including mass market policies and specialized wordings for specific industries and professions. Kari also has significant experience with technology E&O, multimedia and intellectual property claims, as well as others types of professional liability matters including D&O, EPL and accountants liability.
