Kristi Nolley was recently named as an honoree for the WBAI’s 2021 Top Women Lawyers in Leadership Award. 

Kristi serves as coverage and litigation counsel to domestic and international insurers in matters pertaining to various forms of professional liability coverage and general liability insurance matters. Kristi leads clients through complex insurance claims such as securities fraud class action lawsuits, derivative actions, regulatory investigations and proceedings, employment-related litigation and products liability class actions. With her additional experience in managed healthcare matters, Kristi provides valuable legal counsel to clients with a breadth of insurance issue knowledge.

As the first-ever female member of BatesCarey’s Management Committee, Kristi brings a unique perspective and commitment to the firm’s diversity and inclusion efforts. She was elected to the committee after an overwhelming vote of confidence from her peers and has committed herself to helping other female attorneys succeed ever since.

Kristi also leads the firm’s Tea Talk initiative, where attorneys and clients gather to discuss current workplace diversity and inclusion topics and trends to promote equality and recognize achievements in an equitable manner.

The WBAI’s Top Women Lawyers in Leadership Award honors female lawyers in leadership roles who, through their varied accomplishments and diverse backgrounds, make a profound impact on the Illinois legal community. Those selected serve as outstanding mentors to others in the industry, create growth and progress in individual legal fields, show future potential or possess additional qualities of elite female lawyers indispensable to their respective professional communities.
