Super Lawyers is a prestigious award only given to the top five percent of attorneys in each state. Selection is based on peer nominations and evaluations, as well as extensive amounts of independent research. Rising Stars have an even narrower margin, with only 2.5 percent of attorneys in each state recognized. Rising Stars must be 40 or younger or have been in practice 10 years or less.
