Stanley V. Figura explored recent trends and developments related to climate change litigation and insurance actions at the 2022 ARIAS U.S. Spring Conference.

The panel presentation, titled “Climate Change – Coming to a Courtroom Near You,” featured a comprehensive discussion on climate change litigation and insurance issues, including coverage litigation involving current and future climate risk exposures. Stan was joined on the panel by fellow insurance professionals Lisa Simon and Alison Nisonger of Swiss Re.

Stan’s practice focuses on the resolution of complex insurance coverage and reinsurance disputes. He represents insurance companies in state and federal courts throughout the United States in declaratory judgment actions involving a wide range of coverage issues, including product liability, asbestos, pollution, toxic tort, construction defect and fidelity bond coverage disputes.
