Adrian Rohrer is a partner who concentrates his practice in insurance coverage analysis and litigation matters. He serves as both coverage and litigation counsel to foreign and domestic insures in various matters involving professional and general liability coverage, including D&O, E&O, EPL, LPL, CGL and Public Entity coverage-related issues. Prior to joining BatesCarey, Adrian was an insurance coverage attorney with considerable experience litigating coverage disputes before state and federal courts at both the trial and appellate level.

Adrian received his J.D., with High Honors, from Chicago-Kent College of Law in 2004. While in law school, he completed judicial externships with the Honorable Ann Claire Williams, U.S. Court of Appeals Seventh Circuit; and with the Honorable Michael T. Mason, Magistrate Judge, U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Illinois. Adrian received CALI Academic Excellence Awards in Property, Legal Drafting and Environmental Law. He also served as an Executive Articles Editor for the Chicago-Kent Law Review.

Prior to entering private practice, Adrian completed judicial clerkships with Justice Nathaniel Howse, Jr. and with Justice Warren Wolfson in the Illinois Appellate Court, First District. During his clerkships, Adrian drafted numerous published opinions and unpublished Illinois Supreme Court Rule 23 orders on a variety of complex civil, criminal and regulatory matters.

Adrian was selected to the Illinois Rising Stars list, a peer review designation recognizing no more than 2.5 percent of Illinois lawyers under the age of 40 in 2014-2018.
